|10th November 2016||2nd Advisory Panel and Workshop meetings in Port Elizabeth|
|8-14 March 2017||Scifest Africa to be held in Grahamstown where pollution is a principal theme.|
|15th March 2017||3rd Advisory Panel and Workshop meetings in Port Elizabeth|
|4th to 7th July 2017||South African Marine Science Symposium (SAMSS) in Port Elizabeth|
|9th to 14th July 2017||International Waste Conference with a theme: “Building a Marine Pollution Strategy for Africa”. In Port Elizabeth.|
The two international marine conferences, SAMSS and the African Marine Waste conference will be back to back allowing delegates to attend both.
The international conference will be in Port Elizabeth. Algoa Bay, off Port Elizabeth which is a Hope Spot and the Bottlenose Dolphin Capital of the World. Dolphin are in the foreground of this photograph by Lloyd Edwards of Raggy Charters.
Join SST in championing the Splendours of our South African Seas in caring for its wonderful animals and the people who depend upon them. SST develops education and skills training as a means of coping with poverty and food security. SST also raises awareness and encourages public participation for the sustainable use of our marine resources.
