On April 15th, 2016 Dr. Tony Ribbink will be speaking to people from a number of top businesses at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) workshop in Geneva about Oceans Plastics. While Dr. Ribbink is unable to present in person, his paper will be presented by Marie Le Texier from the WBCSD with Tony joining the workshop electronically to contribute and answer any questions. The presentation will discuss the need for a waste network in Africa and the manner in which SST is developing its new waste programme, the African Marine Waste Network (AMWN). One of our first tasks to overcome the issue of litter in Africa is to establish a baseline of understanding. Press here to read about the presentation.
