International Coastal Clean-up Day 2015
On International Coastal Clean-up Day, 19 September 2015, the Deputy Minister
of Environmental Affairs Barbara Thomson led a community cleanup of Eastern
Beach, East London. SST was in attendance, running a photography-based
awareness project for local children in conjunction with the cleanup and CEO,
Dr Tony Ribbink, handed over copies of the coffee table book,
South African
Coasts - A celebration of our seas and shores to Deputy Minister Thompson
and Mr Albert Mfenyana, General Manager of Environmental Management at
the Department of Economic Development, Environmental Affairs and
