Kingsway High School Raises Funds for SST!

Dear South Coast Sun Staff

Thanks so much for your article in the Sun. The people who came to Baggies
at Warner beach for bodyboarding and surfing lessons today all said that
they had read about our morning of teaching surfing in your Sun- many
thanks.

We had a great time with lots of the kingsway learners enjoying the last day
of the School holidays all on the beach together. We welcomed the
past-pupils who joined us there. The weather was lovely and the waves very
good.

Sincere thanks to Kim McCarthy from the Sapphire Coast Tourism Board who
kindly arranged a gazebo and DJ and to the lady at the refreshment centre
for her generous donation.

We are proud to say that we raised R1000 for the Sustainable Seas Fund Trust
to help us preserve our lovely beaches and to keep the sea clean.

Well done Body-boarders, Surfers, Interact Members and Career Monitors from
Kingsway High School for your valiant effort. You are really great young
people.

Lynn Schroder- Teacher in charge of Body-boarding and Surfing.
