Sustainable Seas Trust participated in an outing with 13 children from the Union High School Eco Club visiting Kenton on Sea 1-7 Dec 2014. At the SST offices the children first watched a Pollution film before walking to Middle beach and on to the slipway via Kariega Beach where our Blue Flag lifeguards welcomed the visitors and gave a short talk about safety on our beaches. Having watch the pollution film the children initiated their own cleanup along the way.

DAFF met us at Middle Beach where they gave a talk on permits, over fishing and coastal conservation. The children were super stars, they listened well and were involved in everything we did with them and earnend the name Environmental warriors from Thulani from DAFF.
