It is False Bay - from Muizenberg to Cape Point -
Earlier in the year the Sustainable Seas Trust (SST) announced the launch of five international marine conservation areas, called Hope Spots in South Africa in December 2014 – Aliwal Shoal, Algoa Bay, Plett, Knysna and the Cape Whale Coast. SST, the organization facilitating the Mission Blue Hope Spot roll out in South Africa, are proud to announced that False Bay will be the fourth Western Cape and the sixth SA Hope Spot to be declared a Hope Spot by the architect of the concept, internationally renowned oceanographer, Dr Sylvia Earle.
