I pledge to change my actions into enviromental ones from picking up others rubbish on the street, not throwing turpintine (from oil painting) down the sink to getting involved in activism rallys and petitions. I pledge not to throw my mineral turpinetine down the sink as it creates hazard ... ''When flushed down a toilet, sink or drain, household hazardous waste goes through the sewage system to treatment plants not equipped to handle hazardous waste. At treatment plants, hazardous waste interferes with the treatment process by killing bacteria and contaminating the effluent that runs into the ocean and the sludge which is reused as fertilizer'' When visiting the sea, I will make sure I don't leave litter on the beaches or by the sea. By joining seapledge, I feel as though I am contributing to my full to help improve and conserve life in the seas.

When I go SCUBA diving, I will also continue to encourage and urge dive instructors and masters to be more vigilant towards the environmentally harmful or protective behaviour of 'their' divers.
