The Hans Hoheisen Charitable Trust (HHCT)
The aim of the Hans Hoheisen Charitable Trust is to assist in the preservation and conservation of fauna and flora in South Africa. It is one of the largest private trusts supporting public benefit organisations involved in this important area.
Mr Hans Hoheisen, the testator and passionate conservationist, has left a legacy that has made it possible to provide significant financial support for such causes. There is an increasing awareness that there are limits to what the South African government is able to spend on conservation, given their massive social responsibilities. Mr Hoheisen’s commitment to conservation has demonstrated his desire to create a magnificent and sustainable legacy that will carry on in perpetuity.
